Sheriff Foam Finger is a four-colour reduction linocut print built around a slightly absurd western scene. An ageing sheriff sits awkwardly on a small, reluctant-looking horse, raising a foam finger as if ready to rally a crowd rather than face a duel.

The contrast between traditional western imagery and the unexpected foam finger creates a humorous, slightly offbeat narrative. Neither the sheriff nor the horse appears particularly prepared for action.
