‘Scroll Down’ is a contemporary linocut print reflecting the endless loop of modern screen culture.
A lone character sits confined within a shopping trolley, absorbed in his phone. Marked with a hashtag across his forehead, he becomes both participant and product — caught somewhere between browsing, buying and being watched. The trolley forms a loose cage around him, suggesting a kind of passive captivity.
Layered over the figure, abstract blocks of colour cut across the composition, echoing the constant stream of digital input and distraction.
Printed as a small edition linocut, the piece combines bold black linework with a loose, colourful background, giving each print a slightly different feel.
