Linoprint4

I was honoured to be invited to take part in LinoPrint4, held at The Horsebridge Arts Centre in early 2025. The exhibition brought together over 30 relief printmakers from across the UK and beyond, showcasing a wide range of approaches to linocut and printmaking across both gallery spaces.  It was a chance to exhibit alongside an incredibly strong group of artists, with styles ranging from bold graphic work to more detailed and traditional techniques.

The show was well attended throughout its run, with a great atmosphere and a steady flow of visitors engaging with the work. A large selection of framed prints, alongside browser prints, cards and books, created a rich and varied exhibition that reflected the diversity of contemporary printmaking.  For me, it was a really positive experience — both exhibiting my own work and being part of a wider printmaking community in such a well-supported show.

Ben Dickson is a Whitstable-based printmaker and organiser of the Lino Print exhibition series at The Horsebridge Arts Centre. His work and curatorial approach have helped bring together a wide range of contemporary linocut artists, creating a well-supported and varied platform for relief printmaking.
